Any point in getting involved for a foreclosure buyer to get involved in objection to a sale?
Hello,
I recently bought a property at a foreclosure auction in Orange county. After the sale, the former owner filed a motion to vacate both the judgment and the sale, claiming they were not properly notified and that the judgment is void. Since the bank has its own lawyer, I’m wondering if there’s any point in me getting involved as the third-party buyer, or if the bank’s attorney will already be working in my favor. What are the benefit of participating? What are the risks if I don’t participate?
And, what timeline should I expect in this objection process?
Thanks in advance.
