Getting my money back from Miami Dade county

Even though I don't want my deposit back from Miami Dade county just jet I just realised that my money has been with them for over seven months I thought they had to return your money automaticly after something like 180 days does anybody have a handle on this?

According to the county funds on deposit are only returned when requested.
