Tax deed auction question:

April - Owners grant Quick Claim Deed to I assume (same last name/ $1.00 price) a family member.
June - Tax Certificate holder issued Certificate for Tax Deed.

**I don't think new deed owner was notified. **

Searched public records:
Tax deed notice/mailing appears in original owner search.
I searched new owners name and the only image was the recent Quick Claim Deed (no tax deed notice).

Property Appraiser:
Still lists original owners, BUT, Sales History/Qualification has a "P" for what I assume stands for PENDING?

Question: Will this cause title issues down the road?, Suggestions for bidder?
