Not if it is a foreclosure property that is listed on the county auction site. You can obvioulsy do a drive by and see the outside condition that could give you some sort of indication of the inside, especially if it looks run down. You could also knock on a neighbors door, if it feels safe to do so, and ask them about the inside condition of thier neigbours house, or if it looks like there is no one living in the house that you want to bid on, then you could, at your own risk, take a peek through the windows of the house, just some suggestions.
